One of the best places to see Jacob sheep to their best advantage is at one of the many agricultural shows around the country with Jacob classes. If you want to find out more about the breed or the Society, you will be sure to find members willing to talk to you about the breed in general and their sheep in particular - just so long as its not before judging when they are frantically applying the finishing touches with comb or shears!

Spring is the time to start thinking about show entries for the 2010 show season. The following link includes a list of shows previously known to hold classes for Jacob sheep. This list is not exhaustive and if you become aware of any of local shows which currently have or are keen to have classes for Jacobs, please let the secretary know so that we can help promote them. The contact details have been checked with the Showman’s Directory and an individual show website where available. Inevitably show contact details change. If you are aware of any updates, please let the secretary know.
