Welcome to New Members

The Jacob Sheep Society and the Scottish Region would like to welcome two new members to the Society. Welcome to Mr C Muraska of Dufftown, Aberdeenshire and to Mrs H McCormick from Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire.

We hope that you enjoy being a member of the Society and we hope to meet you in person at one of our Regional events during 2012.

Scotsheep 2012

The NSA Scotsheep exhibition 2012 will be held this year on Wednesday 6 June and the event will be held at The Morrisons Farm, Dumfries House, Cumnock in Ayreshire.

Scotsheep is Scotland's flagship event and is held every two years and attracts a large amount of sheep farmers from all over the country. Dumfries House was saved for the nation by Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, in 2007. The adjoining 900-acre farm is run as a joint venture between the Prince's charities and the UK's fourth largest supermarket group, Morrisons.

The Jacob Sheep Society will be present at the event with a trade stand promoting the breed as well as the Scottish Region.
